Leander Games began life back in 2008 in Buenos Aires, Argentina but have grown rapidly into a highly regarded gaming software company who are incorporated into the casinos of some of the best known brands around.
Leander host some of their games on their servers but tend to deliver most to their partners using third party distributors such as Amaya Gaming and the Microgaming Quickfire platform. And while they take their time in developing new games – perhaps three or four each year – the quality of the games is assured given the time, effort and expertise they invest into each of them. They have begun to develop a number of games for mobile devices and they have both instant play and download versions of their casino software.

With a focus on developing very nice-looking slots that are easy and fun to play but which often show a lot of imaginative touches, Leander Games are gaining plenty of fans across the globe. They don’t have as many games as the biggest software providers in the business, only having developed around 30 at the time of writing, but they are clearly going for the quality over quantity approach and their growth in popularity is clearly because they are doing a lot of things right. Many of their games are produced in Spanish language versions as well as English.
- Slots - Slots – and very impressive slots at that – are the mainstay of Leander’s offering, and they have a couple of very imaginative licensing agreements for slots with none other than the country music legend that is Dolly Parton and the heavy metal rock band Megadeth! With bright – but not garish – designs and enough features to keep even the twitchiest of slots fans entertained, games such as 7 Lucky Dwarves, Pablo Picasso and Little Pigs Strike Back are all very impressive both to play and to look at.
- Other Games - At the time of writing Leander is focussing on their slots (though they have also branched out into social gaming). They do offer Reely Roulette, Reely Poker and Reely Bingo, which are slot versions of each of the games, but they haven’t got anything in the way of traditional table or live dealer games or progressive jackpot games.
About Leander Games
With offices in Argentina, the UK, Miami and the Bahamas, Leander has grown into a robust company with a global reach in a relatively short timeframe. Founded in 2008 in Argentina by Ramiro Atucha and Marcelo Blanco, they have been joined at the head of the company by former GTS plc board member Steven Matsell, giving an added level of industry expertise as they attempt to expand.
Having targeted an increase in the number of mobile-friendly games and a more rigorous focus on social gaming, the future looks bright for Leander, and though they are some way behind the market leaders in terms of the number of games they produce, we can see them gently increasing their market share based on the high quality of the slots they produce.
