Buzz Inn Steakhouse & Casino

Buzz Inn Steakhouse & Casino is a favorite among locals in the tiny suburb of East Wenatchee, Washington. Operated by a private gaming interest rather than a tribal group, Buzz Inn is a hybrid motel and steakhouse along with a small number of bingo and machine games. Gambling is not really the main focus of the Buzz Inn Steakhouse & Casino.

East Wenatchee, Washington is set along a scenic strip of highway on the western coast of Washington state. The area has a relatively dense Native American population, so there are plenty of big flashy casino properties nearby that cater to what tourists do make their way through the woods here. This place is better known as a great steakhouse at a low price with an attached entertainment center that includes some gambling options.

Games

Those so-called “bingo slots” found in other parts of the Pacific Northwest are on display here, too. These are essentially slot machines with different rules and wagering limits and such to make the games legal. These games, along with similar versions of video poker and other casino poker games, make up the majority of the gaming available at Buzz Inn. The rest of the options are daily bingo games and occasional bingo tournaments on weekends.

Restaurants & Bars

There is the famous Buzz Inn Steakhouse, a big draw for locals because of its big portions and low prices. When Buzz Inn does brunch and buffets on the weekends, patrons reportedly wait up to an hour to eat. The steakhouse is only open from 11 AM to 10 PM, but a snack bar is open 24 hours along with the casino games. It serves light snacks, soft drinks, coffee and other sundries.

Entertainment

The attached motel is just 100 rooms, but sort of “boutique” in style, in that most of the rooms are designed to be drastically different from one another. It’s a nice stop for tourists, sort of shabby-chic, plus, hey, there’s always gambling.
