The Bahamas are made up of 700 islands in the Atlantic Ocean just north of Cuba. Gambling was first legalised in 1969 and is an important part of the region's tourism, as the casinos are only for foreigners and locals are not allowed to partake in the games legally. All of the casinos in the Bahamas are located within hotel resorts and offer all the traditional table games like roulette, blackjack, baccarat, craps, and three-card poker. Three of the venues are owned and operated by Atlantis World Casinos with the others independently owned.

Online gambling is not legal for either locals or foreigners staying in the Bahamas, nor does the government grant licenses to sites based in the Bahamas.
