The Green Mountain State is pretty strict when it comes to gambling, not allowing any commercial or tribal casinos at all. There is no pari-mutuel betting and live racing does not exist either. Pretty much the only thing that exists is state and national lottery, as well as charitable gaming to raise funds for a cause. Vermont is not likely to budge in its anti-gambling laws either, as it has been unswayed by the changing gambling laws in other states.
