There are limited options in terms of commercial casinos in Maine with one casino offering electronic-based games. The Pine Tree state does, however, offer charitable gaming, pari-mutuel betting, a state lottery, and also has racetracks. Maine’s gambling history is a long one though and they voted to expand their legal gambling options in 2012 to allow slot machines and horse racing, so more and more venues may pop up in the near future.
