The South does not seem to take kindly to gamblers within Georgia, the Peach State,’ having some of the strictest gambling laws in the country. The only two forms of gaming permitted are the state lottery and charity-based betting events. Despite the strict rules, penalties for breaking these gaming laws are lax, unless of course you get caught for running an illegal casino, which is considered a felony in Georgia.
