Utah, like Hawaii, outlaws gambling in all forms and there is no legal way to wager within the state. The Beehive State also strictly forbids gambling at home, pari-mutuel betting, and even charitable gaming. This is unsurprising, however, given that the state wholly identifies with the conservative Church of Latter-Day Saints. It is so conservative in fact, that even the beer has a lower percentage of alcohol and must be purchased from specially licensed shops. Illegal operators face 15 years in jail with tens of thousands of dollars in fines and individuals caught gambling will be arrested.
