Alaska, also known as the 'The Last Frontier,' has some of the strictest gaming laws in the country. Politically conservative, Alaska has made all forms of gambling illegal within its borders. “Charitable gambling,” however, is allowed in certain scenarios, so long as the operators do not make a profit. If caught gambling in Alaska, a warning is first issued, followed by jail time and fines the second time around.
