Arizona mostly just allows for tribal gaming on Native reservation land, but also allows charitable gambling, and ‘amusement’ gaming, so long as there is no prize at stake. Legalised in the mid-1990s, there are currently over 36 fully regulated gaming facilities spread across the state. With plenty of gambling opportunities in the ‘Grand Canyon State’ despite Arizona’s politically conservative population, many of the venues are even open 24-hours a day with traditional table and electronic games available.
