New Caledonia is a "special collectivity", which is owned by France, and is located in the southwest Pacific Ocean. The area has a population of only around 270,000 people with its capital city being Nouméa.

The area has two casinos owned and operated by Casinos de Nouméa, one of which is in Anse Vata and the other of which is located in Pointe Magnin. Both casinos offer the usual games, like roulette and blackjack, with the Grand Casino also featuring Caribbean Stud Poker and an array of tournaments in their dedicated poker room.
