Grosvenor Casino Edinburgh

The Grosvenor Casino in Edinburgh, known to locals as the Maybury, was formerly a Gala Casino prior to being bought out by Grosvenor in 2013. It is located away from the main city centre area, close to the airport, in an Art-deco style building. You can take the 100 bus from directly outside the casino to the airport, which is a 12 minute journey, or in the other direction pretty much any bus will take you to Princes Street in the city centre in just under half an hour. Free parking is available on site for drivers.

The Madison Bar is well stocked with beers, spirits and liqueurs and boasts 20 HD TV screens with all the Sky Sports channels, making it a popular place to watch the game with friends. Other Facilities

For a massive range of accommodation options you might opt to head into Edinburgh city centre but there are hotels within walking distance of the casino including the Marriott, Ascot Garden and the Maybury. If you do head into Edinburgh itself, there is plenty to do such as visiting the castle or the Scottish parliament buildings or climbing Arthur’s Seat. If you happen to be visiting in August you could also catch a show at the world famous Fringe Festival which is the largest arts festival in the world.
