Cape Canaveral, Florida was settled by accident after the construction of a small lighthouse near a series of barriers islands on Florida’s Atlantic coast. These days, Cape Canaveral is known mainly for its stretches of beautiful undeveloped beaches. Cape Canaveral is also home to Victory Casino Cruises, one of several casino cruise ship businesses that call the city home.

Florida gambling law is strict and doesn’t allow for any true commercial gambling venues. Instead, loopholes utilizing the state’s proximity to international waters have popped up – Victory Casino Cruises offers more games than most American casinos because before the games begin, the ship heads out 9 miles into the Atlantic. Games available include slots, video poker, table games (blackjack, roulette, etc.), head-to-head poker, live keno and bingo, and even a small sportsbook room.

The cruise takes place at 11 AM and 7 PM Mondays through Thursdays, lasting five hours each trip. On the weekends, the hours extend to 12:30 AM.

• Victory Sportsbook Lounge – This combination sportsbook and sports bar includes big-screen TVs displaying major sporting events as well as a full-service bar.
• Coral Sky Tiki Bar – This dockside bar is the perfect place to gather to wait for the cruise to depart; opens two hours before departure every day except Sunday.

Entertainment

Every day except Sunday, Victory Casino Cruises operates Club V, a small nightclub and bar with a live DJ.
